Partner Spotlight Event with Microsoft

On 30 October 2023, the CERN Venture Connect programme led its first partner spotlight event, featuring Microsoft and its first spin-off, RESHAPE.SYSTEMS, targeting reliability engineering through the use of the CERN Accelerator Fault Tracker technology.

During this insightful day, participants discovered how Microsoft enables digital transformation for the era of an intelligent cloud and an intelligent edge. Deep tech founders also had the opportunity to learn more about the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub and how it helps startups radically accelerate innovation by providing access to industry-leading AI services, expert guidance, and the essential technology needed to build a future-proof startup.

I think it is definitely great to meet all these smart students, people working at CERN preparing for spin-offs, pre-production, post-production to better understand the ecosystem. Honestly, I do not think people know enough about what is happening at CERN and I think events like this lead to more visibility and are fruitful, helpful to support the ecosystem and not only in Geneva, but also across the whole country. Visibility definitely helps support the ecosystem, founders and startups all together.
